Seeing as just about every brand in Australia has Gelato Messina on their ‘must collaborate’ list, it was only a matter of time before Kellogg’s tapped the dessert lords to help celebrate the relatively new White Chocolate version of the company’s famed Coco Pops.
From September 1st, Gelato Messina will be slinging a Coco Pops White Choc gelato across Australia, serving as a sequel to their original, best-selling ‘Just Like A Milkshake’ flavour.
Unsurprisingly, it’s going by the catchy name ‘Just Like A White Chocolate Milkshake’, built by soaking Coco Pops White Chocolate in Messina jersey milk to create a base of caramel and marshmallow notes, churned into fresh gelato and layered with clusters from the cereal.
“We know that our customers love Coco Pops and the nostalgia that comes with it,” said Messina’s Donato Toce. “The original ‘Just Like A Milkshake’ has always been a crowd-pleaser and quick to sell out, so we knew we had to crunch it up a notch. We can’t wait to share the new flavour with gelato lovers around the country.”
The limited-edition flavour will be available in stores at Messina stores across Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland, and on Deliveroo, for one week only from 1 September.
