F&L News: Michelin Star Restaurant Tim Ho Wan Set To Open This Weekend

Famous for their mouth-watering delicacies carefully crafted by top chefs around the world, dim sum chain Tim Ho Wan are set to open their first Australian outlet on Saturday March 28.

Located in Chatswood’s ‘The District’ precinct, diners will get a taste of Chef Mak Kwai Pui’s famous menu as they serve up 25 fresh made-to-order treats including steamed egg cake, vermicelli roll with pig’s liver, pan-fried carrot cake and the popular baked pork buns.

Tim Ho Wan was founded by former Four Seasons Hong Kong dim sum Chef Mak Kwai Pui, who will be officiating the grand opening in May and ensuring the delivery of dim sum in Australia is of the highest quality. Each of his three Hong Kong outlets holds a coveted Michelin star so you can expect nothing but superior eats at the Chatswood location.

In addition to this, Tim Ho Wan has plans to expand further in Australia with the introduction of outlets in Burwood, Sydney CBD and Melbourne this year.

Seating for Tim Ho Wan will be on a first-come, first-served basis so get in early to avoid missing out! The restaurant is located at Corner of Victoria Avenue and Railway Street, Chatswood, New South Wales.
