Announced this week, Beats by Dr. Dre and Apple aren’t quite done rolling out new versions of their popular Powerbeats Pro wireless earphones. The buds have been a best-seller under the Beats brand since they were first released in April of last year, now the design team is brightening things up while leaving the specs in-tact.
Coming to Australia from 9th June, the Powerbeats Pro will now be available in four new illuminating colours, those being Spring Yellow, Cloud Pink, Lava Red, and Glacier Blue.
Aside from the eye-catching hues, nothing has changed about the spec sheet. You’ll still get up to 9 hours battery time on a single charge, boosted to 24+ hours with the charging case, an IPX4 rating, faster pairing with the H1 chip, Class 1 Bluetooth, on-ear volume and track controls on both earbuds, powerful sound with dynamic range and noise isolation, enhanced phone call performance, and four distinctively sized ear tips for optimal sound and comfort.
Those promises have translated to a well-reviewed and best-selling product for over a year now. And while the market for true wireless earbuds has, unsurprisingly, gotten as competitive as ever, the Powerbeats Pro should still stand amongst the best of them.
The new hues of Powerbeats Pro will be available at apple.com and all the typical retailers from 9th June for AU$395.
