Wine Machine Review & Photos: Cut Copy, Flight Facilities & more deliver a delicious afternoon in McLaren Vale

Flight Facilities ft Owl Eyes

It couldn’t have been a better day for a music festival. The warm weather was appreciated by all after a slow start to normal summer weather. Serafino winery in the southern McLaren Vale wine country was the perfect venue for an afternoon of music and wine. There was plenty of space to spread a blanket under the sprawling gum trees or claim a spot in one of the many shaded areas.

Many people took advantage of the shuttle bus from the city, and everyone was dressed to impress. Early DJs started the summer vibe, while Tasmanian duo Sumner grabbed the audience attention early in the afternoon.

There was plenty of room to dance, catch up with friends, grab a bite to eat and a wine or two. And for those looking to add the experience to their socials, loads of Instagram props were dotted around the venue, as were some cool market stalls.

The music continued all afternoon from the stage with Art vs Science, San Cisco, Cut Copy and more providing an upbeat vibe to the proceedings. DJ Jimi the Kween entertained between acts. Lime Cordiale proved crowd favourites, with their enthusiastic display of stylish outfits and quirky beats.

As the sun set and the temperature dropped, the audience scrambled to find warmer clothes and settle in for headliners Flight Facilities. With Owl Eyes (pictured above) at the helm for most of the songs, the melodic tracks were a fitting finale to the evening.

Overall, it was a very pleasant afternoon of music wine and food that everyone enjoyed.

This performance took place on 17th December 2022.
