Tortoise returning to Australia and New Zealand this December!

Post-rock band Tortoise will be returning to Australia and New Zealand for a couple of dates and to share their love for music through their recent album release, The Catastrophist. First up is New Zealand, with stops in Auckland and Wellington, before they come over to Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth.

It’s been seven years since their last album, and Tortoise gave us a pleasant surprise with The Catastrophist. Returning to their roots and hometown music scene, Tortoise experiments with more improvisational and jazz notions. “Gesceap”, the latest single is a nostalgic trip down to electro music with the synths and repetitive melodies.

Tickets for the Aussie shows can be found here, whilst New Zealand fans can get their mitts on tickets here.
