The Red Bull Music Academy takes to Sydney Harbour for its second Weekender

The Red Bull Music Academy have unveiled more details for their second Weekender in Sydney, kicking off on August 31st this year, continuing through until September 3rd!

As a highlight event, the brand hits the water, bringing a stellar open air Sky High event to Sydney Harbour as luxury cruise yacht, Bella Vista. Taking place on September 2nd, punters will be able to get around Gorillaz collaborator and acclaimed composter/vocalist Peven Everett as he performs on the boat with a quartet. Joining him at sea is a slew of locals in J’NettCC DiscoThe PosséBoogie MonsterMidnight MutantsAdi Toohey and Mike Who.

On land, the Weekender also features some unmissable sessions with the likes of Bunna Lawrie, techno pioneer Carl CraigABRA and the much lauded Talk to the Breeze after party, headlined by András at Freda’s.

Red Bull Radio will be hosting their own pop up at 107 Projects in Redfern across the board during the Weekender. The public can come down and meet some of the artists on the RBMA Weekender bill too, check in on live DJ mixes and interviews with some of Sydney’s own.
