The House of Bacardi comes to Melbourne to celebrate a thriving city nightlife

The House of Bacardi threw open its doors to people in Sydney and Brisbane to great effect recently, with the iconic brand linking up with some of the country’s best party-starters to ensure that the heart of Australia’s nightlife culture – live music and curated party nights – remains a strongly beating one.

As we’ve seen in recent months, the rousing response to the lockout laws crippling Sydney’s city nightlife has more than demonstrated the love and support for smaller venues and the various opportunities curated live music and party night offer local musicians and artists. Through Keep Sydney Open’s passionate work, the message to Government is getting louder and louder and in the House of Bacardi’s recent stop at The World Bar in Kings Cross, the brand got right behind the cause and threw a party unlike any other.

So, with the initial east coast events going down such a treat, the House of Bacardi now turns its focus to Melbourne for an unmissable event on December 1st.

The final edition of this trio of free parties welcomes some of the city’s best for a night of antics and pure musical indulgence. As with the Sydney and Brisbane House of Bacardi events, the Melbourne party is all about demonstrating the positive influence local artists and creatives have on their city’s nightlife and with a line up including Tornado Wallace, Awesome Wales, Sydney’s Donny Benét and Goddess (featuring MIMI, SHOUSE and more), you best believe you’re going to be well taken care of.

Teaming up with BACARDI for the event are talented creative Daydreams, Pelvis, VICE and CRXZY SXXY CXXL, each tasked with curating rooms of their own during the event. For the CRXZY SXXY CXXL cats, the House of Bacardi couldn’t have picked a better moment in time to come through Melbourne.

“Melbourne is absolutely thriving at the moment! It’s such a great city and musical to be a part of. CRXY SXXY CXXL are excited to be a part of the House of Bacardi and to work with a brand who are so supportive of party-curators bringing new flavours to the city.”

Now, down to the nitty gritty.

The Melbourne party is absolutely free, but punters are encouraged to get down early from 8pm. RSVP via Check out the full line up of talent below and mark it on your calendar!
