The AU Awards return for 2016; public voting for Australian Artist of the Year now open!

As we approach the final weeks of what’s been a pretty hectic 2016, we are incredibly stoked to announce the return of the AU AWARDS for another year. Recognising the achievements of our artists both nationally and internationally, the awards fall into line with other celebrations happening around the country, with both the ARIA Awards and the inaugural National Live Music Awards taking place later this month.

Previous AU Awards events have seen the likes of Gang of Youths, Tkay MaidzaMontaigneBad//Dreems, Ruby Boots and more take out awards in 2015, while our inaugural awards in 2014 saw artists including Violent SohoRemiCourtney Barnett and SAFIA win. With a diverse range of artists continuing to breakthrough during 2016, we expect a solid list of names to emerge out of the process this year too!
