Members & their roles:
Jasmine Nelson – singer, songwriter, pianist

What music or artists inspired you?
Rufus Wainwright, Ella Fitzgerald, Feist, Nick Drake, Fiona Apple, Tom Waits

How did you get started?
I have always written songs at the piano, with the door firmly closed so nobody could hear! But I only started sharing them in the last few years. I learnt piano from a young age, and sang jazz for many years, but it was song writing that has always been my main love

How would you best describe your live show:
An engaging space. Intimate, honest, musically captivating, stories weaved throughout.

What shows do you have coming up?
I am planning a tour of Australia, hoping to perform for people all over the country… Details soon! Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.

Tell us about your latest release:
Hercules was released on September 24th, and features a collection of songs that were written on a very quiet piano. My song ‘Heart’ was the single. The album is intensely honest, and has a lot of light and dark throughout it.

Where can I get your music?
Hercules is available on itunes and GooglePlay! I have a few videos up on my youtube, and a few songs on my soundcloud too.
