What music or artists inspired you?
Mastodon, Neil young, Radiohead, Rush, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, The Doors, Van Morrison… a long list.

How did you get started?
Been writing songs since I was a kid, moved through a couple of instruments and played in a few bands playing kinda prog/rock/funk music. Moved to Leeds and met Barney and Josh. Started writing in a new style and changed my name to Eaves. We jammed a lot but have only really got to playing shows recently.

How would you best describe your live show:
A closer portrayal of the music we’re creating, heavier sound.

What shows do you have coming up?
Glastonbury is next up, then we play and a little european run with Mumford and Sons. Lots of festivals for the rest of the summer, so lots to keep us busy.

Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.

Tell us about your latest release:
It’s a mix between the two kinds of music I’ve been working on, more of a classic singer songwriter feel to some, and then a heavier band feel to the rest, quiet as can be to as loud as it can go. Kinda juxtaposes a manic city life to the peace of the countryside. Subjects of the songs are pretty varied.

Where can I get your music?
Record stores, cd stores. iTunes, Spotify, Youtube.
