Southbound reveals new additions to 2016 festival including TruckStop, Commedia dell’ Southbound & more!

Southbound has continued to come through with the goods ahead of its 2016 event, with the announcement of more DJs and funky additional areas to the festival – all to ensure that you’ve got all your New Year party plans sorted. Of course, Southbound isn’t happening over the New Year’s Eve period like its Falls Festival cousins, but the celebrations are being stretched out West for the January 8th-10th event and with the addition of their very own Big Top circus tent, the Southbound TruckStop and the ultra cool Commedia dell’ Southbound, you won’t even notice the time going by.

The TruckStop will be showing off some of WA’s finest producers, offering wine, beer and food to festival goers to get around, while the Commedia dell’ Southbound is the Southbound’s cool zone – escape the sun and the sweat by chilling out in the new area tailormade to provide a haven away from the rays.

The Big Top tent this year will be seeing a number of talented folk throwing down some DJ sets throughout the duration of Southbound, with Kilter and Paces on decks to bring it all to a close. In between main sets, you can catch the following doing their thing:

Zan Rowe (JJJ)
Alex Dyson (JJJ)
Craig Hollywood (RTR FM)
Dennis Gedling (RTR FM)
Simon Collins (The West)
Aarom Wilson (WAM)
Aaron Rutter & Paul Fletcher (JUMPCLIMB)

If you’ve not sorted your Southbound tix, there’s still time – head to Southbound’s website to find out what options are available!
