Six festivals primed to make your New Year’s Eve and Day a brilliant time out

With New Year’s just around the corner, and Australia’s sweltering summer season vastly approaching, now is the best time for you festival goers to start thinking about which gigs you want to hit, where they will be, and how you can get your hands on tickets. Check out our guide below of our top six favourite lineups you can’t miss this season!

Space Ibiza (Sydney)

After 8 consecutive successful New Year’s Day events, Space Ibiza are super excited to announce that they are returning to Sydney for NYD18 as “The Legend Lives On”. This years Space NYD Party is going to be a huge one as you can expect to see a number of international artists gracing us with their presence on the stages of Sydney, some of which include Patrick ToppingPleasurekraft and the Adana Twins.

NYE on the Hill 2017 

NYE on the Hill is a massively anticipated festival located in Melbourne that will certainly be one to remember. NYE on the Hill is a 3 day music and camping festival (though there is so much more to experience) that is the place to be for amazing vibes to enter the new year, and a number 1 spot for music loving crowds. With performances by the likes of Ball Park MusicRegurgitatorDean Lewis and BIRDZ, NYE on the Hill is not to be missed. Find out more about the festival, here!

 

Falls Festival

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Falls festival, and as expected it is going to be a huge one! There are a whole bunch of up and coming artists not to mention a number of faves that will send shock waves through all you festival heads. FlumePeking DukD.D Dumbo and Angus & Julia Stone are just some of the artists we can’t wait for, find out more about this year’s festival here!

Beyond The Valley

Since it’s initial release, Beyond the Valley has continued to expand its line-up and it keeps getting better. This Victorian-based festival has promised to deliver its “biggest roster yet” and so far they haven’t disappointed. StormzyScHoolboy Q and Amy Shark prove that this year’s Beyond the Valley event is all killer, no filler – check out more about the festival here!

 

Field Day 

Set at Sydney venue – The Domain, Field Day is one of the most exciting ways to celebrate your New Year’s and is also one of Sydney’s most popular boutique music festivals. The line-up this year is one to remember, ranging from hip-hop, to house, to electronic. From Anna Lunoe to Thundamentals and Princess Nokia, there is so much about Field Day to be getting around; a great way to bring in the first day of the year in the Harbour City. Lost Paradise

It’s time to ‘discover your hidden wonderland’ at Lost Paradise 2017 in New South Wales. Beginning on December 28th to January 1st, this festival has everything you’ll ever need from amazing music, incredible experience, and of course glamping!
