Single of the Day: Bad//Dreems “Mob Rule” (2016)

Baddies! The Adelaide crew is back with new single “Mob Rule”, the first taste of the new album that has kept Bad//Dreems squirrelled away a decent part of 2016. Dropping ahead of their national tour with DMAs, the single comes packed with that gritty, gnarly energy that first put the band on the map.

It doesn’t feel like there’s been any time at all in between this tune and their 2015 debut album Dogs At Bay; vocalist Ben Marwe snarls as guitars build and push forward, while Miles Wilson and James Bartolo‘s percussion and bass keep that punishing, riot-inciting beat going.

A killer tune from a band we’re excited to see more of out on the road and on record – Bad//Dreems have one hell of a sophomore album coming up if this is anything to go by.
