Sampa the Great’s HERoes Act 2 EP is out now and you need to listen in ASAP

Sampa the Great‘s reputation precedes her now. The Sydney-based artist recently found herself at the Red Bull Sound Select Studios in Paris laying down the brilliant touches on her highly anticipated HERoes Act 2 EP with LA producer Rahki. Also collaborating with the Grammy winning songwriter and artist Estelle, Sampa has channeled some effortless groove and and maturity within her lyricism that only points to some exciting times still to come.

“I felt intimidated. I really had to look back to my journey way before I came to Australia, I had to look at my musical family, being raised by them and convince myself that I am in the space I’m supposed to be. Gaining that confidence in myself as an artist is something that I have taken out of this experience.” – Sampa the Great

This EP may only be three tracks long but make no mistake, this is an important stamp of presence from the Sampa The Great and demonstrates to newcomers and long time fans that her talent is far exceeding what her name may suggest. The girl has been on her come up for some time but with HERoes Act 2, Sampa is truly taking flight.
