Yorke brought her 10 feet tall EP tour to Sydney on Thursday night, headlining at The Lansdowne in Chippendale. It was the first time I’d seen her perform live since 2019, and it was exciting to see the progression for the talented singer/songwriter.
All five tracks from the EP were played, and many patrons already knew the words. Her audience engagement, vivid storytelling and charismatic performance kept everyone well and truly engaged.
Supporting Yorke were two excellent artists. Sammi Constantine kicked off the evening. We’ve been a big fan of her recent releases, including singles “Lemonade” and “Dopamine”. Following on from Sammi was the Central Coast’s Eluera, whose emotive story-telling was also well-received.
All up, it was a night of three fabulous performances.
Bruce was there to bring you these photos.
