Although very jet lagged, the delightful Alice and her band put on a quality performance playing more recent songs including opener “Only When I”, “Glow”, “Dusk” off the 2021 album Glow.

Half way through her set the band left the stage for Alice to perform solo on guitar.

Alice’s fans were very vocal, yelling out for requests and in one occasion when a fan demanded “Walk On The Wild Side” by Lou Reed, a song Alice has previously covered, a smiling Alice replied “I’m not going to play fucking Walk On The Wild Side, that’s not even my song! Alice was also gifted a bra by an adoring fan.

Alice played her most recent song “Shelter” which she announce was being released in two hours. An upbeat dreamy pop song made for the summer.

Alice finished her set with fan favourites “Witches” and “Dirty Mouth” the crowd wanted more but Alice announced “I usually stay behind and sign all the merch, but I’m so tired, I need to go to bed. We will be back and play Sydney Opera House”.
