Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds announce January 2017 Australian & NZ tour

Bringing Skeleton Tree home to Australia, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced an unmissable run of shows next January. The tour will see the band head to New Zealand as well, with shows lined up for both Auckland and Wellington mid-January.

Understandably, this tour is going to be one of the band’s biggest and arguably, one of their most memorable yet, with the release of Skeleton Tree captivating and wrapping both longtime fans and newcomers alike up into an emotional flurry. Their Sydney shows fall into the 2017 Sydney Festival program and will see Nick Cave & TBS perform at the ICC Sydney Theatre with special guests, The Necks.

Near the beginning of the tour, a special show has been lined up for Ballarat with the band playing on the banks of Lake Wendouree – a return for both Cave and Warren Ellis to the place where they grew up.

Tickets are on sale via www.nickcave.com from 9am AEDT, October 27th. Extra screenings of One More Time With Feeling have also been announce for this December – head to the website for more information.
