The Ministry of Sound Summer Dance Festival is returning in 2026, to kick off the warmer months in style with an Australian tour. But there’s only a few tickets left.
There’s good reason to jump on board, too. Nothing says summer in Australia quite like a music festival and while the heyday has long passed, Ministry of Sound is still giving locals a chance to let the hair down, get on the grass and live life with sun on brow and drink in hand. I, for one, can’t wait. Especially as a Sydneysider, knowing that it’ll unfold at my favourite venue – The Domain.
(I can already see the bats flying overhead as the setting sun bathes the skyscrapers in a purple-orange glow!)

The Lineup
The headline act is CLASSICAL, performed live by the Ministry of Sound Orchestra. The stage is packed with a full orchestra and conducted by award-winning musical director Vanessa Perica – who has helmed the orchestral tour since its 2022 run – alongside Australian dance veteran Groove Terminator. It may not shout “dance festival,” but the song selection and light show are on point and won’t leave a single set of feet still.
Guest vocalists include Reigan, Karina Chavez, Rudy, Lady Lyric and Luke Antony.
Elsewhere across up to three stages is a bill of beat merchants with international pedigree. Grammy-winning New York house legend Roger Sanchez leads the way, joined by UK club-culture mainstay Seb Fontaine – a former Radio 1 dance host and Cream resident – and French touch duo Braxe + Falcon. They’re backed by a rotating cast of homegrown favourites. Those of us with grey hairs can also enjoy 90’s throwback Utah Saints.
The full line-up reads: CLASSICAL (Ministry of Sound Orchestra, Groove Terminator, Vanessa Perica), Roger Sanchez, Seb Fontaine, Braxe + Falcon, Utah Saints, K-Klass, DJ Paulette, John Course, Minx, Sgt Slick, Kid Kenobi (Sydney), Anthony Pappa (Melbourne), Boogs (Melbourne), Tenzin (Gold Coast).
Note: The line-up in Perth varies per date, so check before purchase.

What to Expect
As well as a cool crowd, the venues are among the country’s best outdoor spaces. Sydney’s leg moves to The Domain, while the Gold Coast gets a Queensland-exclusive show at HOTA Parklands, expanded across three stages with bespoke bars, food offerings, a silent disco and the new Golden Stage set against the Surfers Paradise skyline.
Melbourne returns to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl – debuting that Golden Stage and bringing back the crowd-favourite silent disco, while Perth gets the amazing Kings Park, a fresh VIP Deck Experience and two dates, with a day in-between to recover!
