New Music: TUSHAR releases Feels Like a Start EP

South Asian indie-pop musician TUSHAR has just released his sophomore EP, Feels Like a Start. The title song is a feel-good uplifting pop song that just makes you feel happy. The song is infectious, with an upbeat vibe.

The pace slows down a little for a previous single “Peaches and Wine”, but the deep brooding intensity is still present. You can hear influences of Two Door Cinema Club in the mix, with a modern indie presence. Followed by the moody “Drowning in your Mess”, the feelings of angst mixed with hope and expectation are strong with this one.

Hi latest single “Tonight” brings the mood back up to party level, with a glitchy, symphonic sound that is catchy and danceable. Lost loves and desires feature heavily. “I used to have you in my phone, now I’m dancing here all on my own..” A fast paced song despite a sad premise.

The EP finishes off with “Bloodshot Eyes” with another feel-good track that has deeper and darker undertones.

Since forming in 2023, TUSHAR has played notable stages like SXSW Austin and Sydney, New New Fest Dallas, Scouted Adelaide, and NYE On The Hill. With his energetic stage presence and relatable lyrics, he’s quickly becoming a rising star on the indie scene.
