Music Video of the Day: Paul Conrad “California” (2015)

Haven’t heard of Paul Conrad yet? Well, you’re about to. The Sydney musician has been generating considerable hype with his unique brand of pop music, giving those of us yearning for summer a glimmer of an insight to hazy afternoons ahead with some excellent tunes. His latest single, “California”, unsurprisingly ties in well with the theme – the appeal of this tune is undeniable, from the choruses to the to the clip that has been recently released.

Says Conrad of the “California” film clip, it was ‘ideally designed to exhibit the dichotomous manifestations of circumstances conducive to the upper echelons of societal constructs, whereby money, beauty and good fortune waver and acquiesce in the face of insecurity, inner torment and the evil that resides within all of us’.

Mull on that and check the music video out below. It’s no wonder Conrad has been signing deals internationally and gaining attention and radioplay abroad – he’ll have you hooked before you know it.
