Music Video of the Day: Margaret Glaspy “Emotions and Math” (2016)

New York’s Margaret Glaspy has had people in an excited tizz off her debut album Emotions and Math a few months back. With that guitar burning and her clever use of melody making the music captivating as hell, Glaspy has proven to be a bit of a must-see artist, we can’t wait to see her over here before long.

The music video for the album’s title track is out now, directed by Claire Marie Vogel. It’s slick and bright; we watch Glaspy try to keep her mind on the desk job she’s taken up, but drifts as her mind returns to the person she’s missing. If you’ve ever been in a long-distance relationship, you’ll be able to relate. Even if you haven’t, this one’s a bit of a cute watch for your Friday afternoon.
