Julia Jacklin is certainly becoming an artist to watch – soon to hit SXSW for some well anticipated showcases, the Sydney artist has our radars switched on with the release of her single “Pool Party”. Her vocals are endearing in that Sharon van Etten type of way, while that striking guitar and old school vibe of the arrangement indicates that Jacklin’s influences are diverse and layered.
As an introductory piece, “Pool Party” is a promising tune for the 25 year old and we can’t wait to hear more from her in coming months!
