We’ve been completely enraptured by Angie this week as her music video for the gorgeous “This House” comes to light. The Rice Is Nice Records artist (who comes from impressive label stock, mind), releases her third studio album in Shyness this Friday and with “This House” continuing to spur on the local hype, we can’t wait to hear what else Sydney’s Angela Garrick has up her sleeve.
Emotive and cleverly using musical space, “This House” dives into those unspoken moments and feelings that can carry enormous weight that hold can oftentimes overtake us. As Angie explains, “I’m often thinking about how all spaces are imbued with these kind of unspoken feelings and emotions, or that spaces have weight that is difficult to measure. The House is but a metaphor for all of this, but it is representative of spaces I have lived, perhaps every space at some time or another.”
