Music Video of the Day: Allan Smithy “The Streets” (2015)

Dare you not to smile at this one.

Allan Smithy, solo moniker of Matt Amery from Tinpan Orange, has just come and cruised onto our radar with effortless charm and some great songwriting. His single “The Streets” now has a music video and it’s a clip urging the viewer to think about the different types of romance, the fact it knows no bounds (or age), all tied up and filmed within Sydney’s Inner West. The tune, recorded with Tom Iansek and featuring backing vocals by Iansek’s Big Scary partner in crime Jo Syme, is full of harmonies, full of warmth and full of heart.

Check “The Streets” out below and be sure to check Smithy out as he has some shows lined up for November and December!
