Mumford and Sons announce 2019 Australian album tour

British folk rock band Mumford and Sons are coming back to Australia, and it couldn’t come at a better time. Nearly four years after the release of their ARIA chart topping album Wilder Mind the boys are releasing a new album Delta on November 16th; and die-hard Australian fans will be amongst the first to hear those songs played out live.

Mumford and Sons will be hitting up Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in January 2019 and playing some huge venues.

With the music world always changing, their most recent single “Guiding Light” proves these guys are not a washed up folk band. Instead, they’re back with their trademark sound and the exploding melodies, which have cemented songs “I Will Wait” and “Little Lion Man” as anthemic and nostalgic narratives for this generation.

Joining the band on the road, will be Michael Kiwanuka, whose breezy and brooding soul sound will get the crowd warmed up before Mumford and Sons hit the stage.

Pre-sale starts at 2pm on October 10th and runs until 8am on October 12th. For more information on the tour, including ticket prices, click HERE.
