Melbourne Music Week reveals full 2015 program

Now in its sixth year, Melbourne Music Week has released its full 2015 program. From the 13th of November until the 20th, over 100 events will light up the city, including live music performances, workshops, panel discussions, exhibitions, film screenings and more.

This year’s flagship venue is the basement of the former Royal Women’s Hospital, and will house shows featuring the likes of Gypsy & The Cat, Banoffee, Monolake, DZ Deathrays and The Harpoons – amongst many others.

Over eight days and nights, so many nooks and crannies within Melbourne city are going to explored and opened up in ways – it’s not going to be purely a journey down their laneways for a kitsch day out. The venue fit outs will be matching up with the eclectic nature of the entertainment, providing something for everyone to latch on and get sucked into. The Live Music Safari will be presented by Jack Daniels Future Legends this year, offering music fans a run of free shows and parties through the city for an evening over 14 venues.

For another year, Melbourne Music Week also couples up with Face the Music – the annual two day music conference program that makes the most of local industry through workshops, keynotes and networking opportunities, set to provide another highlight of the overall festival program.

Melbourne Music Week will run from 13 – 20 November.
