Iconic ‘Madchester’ band James return to Australia this October. Formed in 1982, they’ve released an impressive 18 albums, their latest, Yummy, hitting #1 in the UK. Known for Tim Booth’s introspective lyrics and enigmatic vocals, the band broke through with classics like “Sit Down”, “Laid” and “Getting Away with It (All Messed Up)”. With over 40 years of hits to play with, expect a set for the ages!
Also, if you want to dive deeper, a career-spanning documentary directed by Chris Atkins arrives this August.
James will be joined by special guests Razorlight. The 2000s guitar heroes return to Australia for the first time in 15+ years, bringing hits like “America” and “When I Fall To Pieces”, this time in a more intimate, but no less electrifying setting.
The tour kicks off, Thursday 8 October in Perth, before heading to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane then over the road to Auckland.
