Harry Styles recruits Warpaint, Leon Bridges & Kacey Musgraves for World Tour – who will he bring to Australia?

This morning, Harry Styles unveiled world tour dates for 2018, no doubt meaning that many a-credit card are going to be slammed once those tickets come on sale. Australian fans woke up to the good news that yes, Styles will be returning Down Under (block April out) but what has also caught attention is the eclectic selection of support artists the former One Direction member has signed up for shows through North America, Asia and South America.

It’s been made clear that Styles’ new music has seen him embark on a decidedly less-pop direction that made him famous but with the likes of WarpaintLeon Bridges and Kacey Musgraves already on board for various shows in major markets, we’re interested to see who Styles brings with him to Australia.

The special guests for the UK, Europe and Australian legs of the tour have yet to be announced but going off the calibre of the above, we’re expecting some pretty cool names to be added to Styles’ tour bill. It shows an interest in diverse genres already and with thousands set to come to these shows, no doubt, this tour will prove hugely beneficial for the support artists – regardless of how established they are in their own right and genre.

While it would be cool to see Warpaint again, of course, they’ve only just been here. Who else could be on the cards though – it could be anyone from Michael Kiwanuka to Kurt Vile at this point, just going of general internet rumours. Might he bring an Australian group on the road? Or hop over the pond into New Zealand and hook up with an act like Broods?

Place your bets and put these dates down somewhere handy if Styles is up your alley next year. The Frontier Members pre-sale launches on June 13th – for more details including staggered timings for each city, head here.
