Grime heavy hitters Krept and Konan announce Australian shows for January

Get ready to welcome the new year with menacing grime beats and furious street-minded rhymes as UK duo Krept & Konan plan a visit down under. The underground South London heavy hitters will be charging into the first week of 2017 with a whirlwind visit that’ll see them play two shows: one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.

It’ll be a chance for fans catch the duo in two of the country’s most intimate live music venues – for Melbourne it’s Laundry Bar, and for Sydney the pair will take to the stage at The Basement.

The largely DIY success that has brought Krept & Konan into mainstream consciousness resulted in their excellent 2015 debut The Long Way Home which birthed hit singles “Certified” (with Rick Ross) and chart-smasher “Freak of the Week” with U.S crooner Jeremih. It’s given them a stacked stock of material to choose from, and when combined with their underground heaters you can be sure Krept & Konan will be starting the year off with one of its very best grime tours.
