Green Day are officially returning to Australia and New Zealand next year

In a sneaky 1am announcement, Frontier Touring have revealed that Green Day will be returning to Australia and New Zealand for their “Revolution Radio Tour” next April and May. They’ll be taking in a run of massive indoor arenas along the way.

The band’s first Australian headline tour since 2009, these ones have obviously been gigs fans have been hanging out for, despite being able to catch Green Day on the Soundwave Festival shortly before the event came to an end. The tour takes in all major capital cities, with tickets going on sale from October 18th.

The announcement of the tour coincludes with the imminent release of their new record, Revolution Radio, out Friday, October 7th through Warner Music.
