Melbourne psychedelic rock outfit Pretty City have embarked on a tour with You Am I lead guitarist, Davey Lane. Pretty City’s new album Cancel the Future has been highly successful, the title referring to breaking free and changing your own future. The group are back in Aus, fresh from charming Europe with their New-80s, psychedelic-slash-britpop sound and a big middle-finger attitude. Davey Lane has been in a fixture in the Australian music industry since 1999, having fronted The Wrights, You Am I, and The Pictures. His years of experience in songwriting have given him a sensibility for pop and rock, as well as the love for a big chorus that will be stuck in your head the day after.

The English musician has a way of communicating his view of what it means to be a man in 2018 with a repetitive groove and sonic elements.
