Thompson’s Bay on Rottnest Island is going to be drawing out boatloads of music fans this December, as the Castaway Festival returns for its fifth year! We couldn’t think of any better way to spend a Sunday this Summer than by taking in some gorgeous ocean views and soaking up some good-time energy that comes with live music from some of the country’s favourite bands – luckily, the Castaway crew have come with all those elements in tow.
Leading the artist announcement this year is Gang Of Youths, performing one of a few summer festival shows in WA this year, following on from time spent abroad completing their second album. Joining them on the bill will be Jarryd James (who recently released his new EP High) and Bag Raiders, who will be performing with a full live band. Perth producer PALACE will be holding it down for the home crowd too, while one more artist is still to be announced!
