Flume’s Skin takes a hat-trick of ARIA Awards at official event in Sydney today!

At the official ARIA Award nominations event in Sydney today (still underway), Flume‘s 2016 album Skin has cleaned up, taking away three awards for Best Cover Art, Best Engineer and Producer of the Year.

“We’re making incredible music here and everyone should be very proud of that.” engineer Eric J Dubowsky said, accepting his award for his work on the album. “I think we’re making the coolest sounds anywhere…”

While Flume himself wasn’t in attendance (his dad accepted his award on his behalf), his presence at this year’s ARIA Awards ceremony (to be held on November 23rd) was confirmed, with the reveal that he will be performing at the event.

Also revealed as winners of the Fine Arts and Comedy awards were the following artists:

Roy & HG for Best Comedy Release with This Sporting Life
Melbourne Ska Orchestra for Best World Music Album with Sierra Kilo Alpha
Vince Jones & Paul Grabowsky for Best Jazz Album with Provenance
Flight Facilities for Best Classical Album with Live With The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
Josh Pyke & The Sydney Symphony Orchestra for Best Original Soundtrack/Cast/Show Album with Live At The Sydney Opera House
