First lineup of Primavera Pro 2017 conference speakers includes Australia’s Vanessa Picken

Tailored towards music industry professionals and independent artists from all over the world, the eighth annual Primavera Pro conference will be returning to the city of Barcelona from 31 May – 4 June 2017. Held at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, the 2017 conference is set to revolve around the themes of originality as a creative motor, the challenges of artistic independence, and the role of change as a major catalyst for industry development.

Since its conception back in 2010, the five-day conference has been steadily growing in size, with Primavera Pro 2016 bringing together 3500 industry professionals from all over the world. So far, the lineup of speakers confirmed to present at Primavera Pro 2017 include British artist and producer Imogen Heap, producer Martin Glover (AKA Youth), Fernando Delgado (PIAS), Australia’s Vanessa Picken (Comes with Fries), photographer Carlota Guerrero, and Chris Carey (Media Insight Consulting). In addition to live performances from up-and-coming musicians, panel discussions, and workshops, the conference will also include the fourth edition of the “Primavera Pro Startup” event, showcasing an array of technological innovation from international tech-startups and their role in the music industry.
