Tarndanya/Adelaide singer-songwriter Lizzie Hosking is back in dark-pop mode with her new single “unforgettable”, and we’re excited to give you an early listen ahead of its release on Friday, July 10.
Following her most recent release, “Satellite (Home’s Making Me Homesick)”, “unforgettable” sees Hosking return to her electro-pop, dance-fronted roots with seductive, evocative power. Pairing dreamy vocals with piercing synthesisers, drum machines, live kits and the contrasting sheen of vocoder, the track captures the spark of a fleeting connection between two strangers.
Built around that electric moment of locking eyes across a room, “unforgettable” leans into the tension and allure of a smoky nightclub. A ruminating beat, shimmering electronic elements and an all-encompassing bassline give the track its immersive pull, while Hosking’s smooth vocal performance adds an effortless pop polish.

There’s a sleek 2000s pop influence threaded through the track, with “unforgettable” carrying the confidence of a club-floor anthem while still holding onto something intimate and romantic. Fans of Ariana Grande, Tate McRae and Victoria Monét will find plenty to love here, but Hosking’s darker electronic instincts give the single its own fierce edge.
Following time spent in London, where she collaborated with international artists and further honed her artistry, Hosking has returned to Tarndanya/Adelaide with a sharper sense of creative identity. Most recently, she was selected for the Helpmann Academy’s Creative Innovator Program, where she is currently working alongside industry leaders to champion resilience, representation and connection in her work.
