Exclusive Music Video Premiere: The Tambourine Girls “The Tambourine Girl” (2016)

The Tambourine Girls today unveil the visuals for their latest single, the almost eponymous “The Tambourine Girl” – the second single release from the Sydney band’s debut album. Directed by James Kates (The Pinheads, Shining Bird), the music video shoot took the band to The Royal National Park, a place that’s held special memories for the group.

Says frontman Simon Relf, “It’s always felt magical to me – full of rabbit holes and rock and roll – but I never thought about making a film clip there until the day of the shoot.”

Matching up with the psych tones of the music, the visuals are layered and soaked in filters, adding a trippy effect you’re pulled into. If this is your first introduction to The Tambourine Girls, you can be catching the band down the east coast in September as they hit the road with “The Tambourine Girl”!
