Ed Sheeran returning to Australia this Summer – all the dates and ticket details

Ed Sheeran broke the attendance records on his last visit (2023), and yes, the rumours that have been circling are true, he is heading back to Australia and New Zealand , with his Loop tour, for a massive run of shows kicking off in January 2026.

Ed will be kicking off the shows in Auckland on the 16th of January, then Wellington and Christchurch before he makes his way to Australia. In 2025, Perth was the last city to catch Ed, this time ’round – they will be first up, on the 31st of March. From there he heads to Sydney, then Brisbane, Melbourne and finishing up in Adelaide.

The tour follows the release of his upcoming album Play, out Friday 12th September. Ed has taken on cultural influences from around the globe in shaping the new album, particularly Indian and Persian. He is showcasing their interconnectedness to other world music, and again demonstrating his passion for growing and entertaining. Anyone who saw him play on his last tour can testify as to what a brilliant performer he is.

There’s no doubt that the tickets will run out the door, so get your gig pals together and work out a plan. Pre-sales kick off on Friday – all the details follow.
