Delta Goodrem announces new album Pure

Delta Goodrem has never really fit into a single lane. Across more than two decades, she has moved seamlessly between chart-topping pop star, songwriter, actress, author, television personality, and entrepreneur, building one of the most enduring careers in Australian entertainment along the way. Now, with a new label partnership, a major international spotlight, and a deeply personal new album on the horizon, Delta is stepping into yet another chapter.

Fresh from signing with Universal Music through Better Now Records/Electrola, Goodrem is heading to Vienna this week to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest, bringing her soaring anthem “Eclipse” to one of the world’s biggest stages. The single has already struck a chord locally, climbing to #1 on the Australian AIR Independent Singles Chart, and arrives as the first taste of her forthcoming studio album Pure, due for release on November 6th, 2026.

“This really feels like a return to myself and the heart of who I am as an artist,” Delta says of the album. “It holds some of my biggest singalongs, my most vulnerable moments, and all the elements I love most in music – from intimate classical piano pieces to uplifting cinematic anthems. I can’t wait for people to step into the world of Pure and make these songs part of their own story too.”

The project also marks the beginning of a new creative era for ATLED Records, the label founded by Goodrem herself.

“I’m so excited to be stepping into this new chapter and joining forces with Universal Music,” she says. “It marks the beginning of a powerful new home for ATLED Records – something I’m incredibly proud of – and I can’t wait to share what we create together.”

It’s a fitting next step for an artist whose career has continually evolved while remaining unmistakably her own. Since bursting onto the scene with 2003’s Innocent Eyes – one of the highest-selling albums in Australian history and a record that dominated charts across Australia, the UK, and Japan – Goodrem has built a catalogue packed with defining pop moments. From Mistaken Identity and Delta through to Wings of the Wild and 2021’s Bridge Over Troubled Dreams, she has amassed nine #1 singles, multi-platinum sales, billions of streams, and a shelf full of awards.

Beyond the charts, Goodrem’s career has stretched across television, film, publishing, and business. She became a fixture in Australian living rooms through Neighbours and later as a beloved coach on The Voice Australia for nine seasons, while Netflix romance Love Is In The Air became a surprise global smash, pulling in more than 40 million views worldwide. Her memoir Bridge Over Troubled Dreams debuted as a #1 bestseller, and even her fragrance line made history, with “Delta by Delta Goodrem” becoming the highest-selling fragrance in Australia.

Along the way, she has collaborated with artists including Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John, Tony Bennett, Michael Bolton, and LeAnn Rimes, while sharing stages with the likes of Shania Twain, Andrea Bocelli, Ricky Martin, and the Backstreet Boys.

But for all the accolades and milestones, Pure feels less like a victory lap and more like a reintroduction – an artist reconnecting with the things that first made audiences fall in love with her music. And if “Eclipse” is any indication, Delta Goodrem’s next era may be one of her boldest yet.

Pure is scheduled for release through Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola on November 6th, 2026
