Dates Revealed: Prince is bringing his “Piano and Microphone” tour to Australia and New Zealand THIS MONTH!

Regal Purple One, Prince, will be blessing Australia and New Zealand with a tour this month, with the shock announcement coming through this week from reputable promoters Dainty Group. It will be part of his solo “Piano and Microphone” tour concept, which when hitting Paisley Park in Minneapolis earlier this year was described as “the most revealing, intimate, and personal show he’s ever given” by the local Star Tribune.

The stripped back and revealing show is said to have a unique set-list each show which will be determined as the show goes on, drawing on songs from Prince’s entire catalogue (that’s 39 albums, mind you). This gives fans the opportunity to witness this incredible artist re-interpret hits, perform rare b-sides, and even dish out never-before-heard material.

The most recent set list from a “Piano & Microphone” show can be seen below. Get excited, Prince fans, this is a rare opportunity to witness one of Prince’s most intimate and innovative performances to date.
