Crowded House to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame this November

Crowded House remain one of Australia’s most beloved bands and come November, the industry is recognising their achievements across the board as they become the latest inductees to the ARIA Hall of Fame. On November 23rd, the band’s 30 year/six studio record long career will be celebrated in Sydney – recipients of 13 ARIA Awards already, it’s no doubt seemed like a long time coming for many Crowded House fans.

“Since our formation in Melbourne and our first album release in 1986, we have enjoyed a special relationship with Australia,” Neil Finn and Nick Seymour have said in a statement today. “One that has strengthened and endured over the years. We feel truly blessed that our songs have become a valued part of peoples lives across generations. As a result, our affinity with fans and the music community here is unique and one we hold very close. We are delighted and honoured to accept the invitation to be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.”

The 2016 ARIA Awards will be broadcast once again on Network Ten this year from The Star in Sydney. For more information about the event, visit their website here!
