Chevron Gardens concert series returns to Perth Festival

The Perth International Arts Festival has announced the return of massive concert series Chevron Gardens at Elizabeth Quay, with dozens of local and international acts bringing the bangers to the west. The massive lineup includes UK Grime king Dizzee Rascal, Aussie rappers A.B Original and Seattle innovator Perfume Genius.

The three week long party will kick off with a killer opening party of genre bending local favourites including Kardajala Kirridarra, the Sandhill Women from the Northern Territory; South Australia’s Electric Fields; as well as Skinnyfish Sound System mixing tradition with modern beats.

“Our opening night celebration sets the tone for Chevron Gardens in 2018,” says Contemporary Music Program Associate, Clara Iaccarino. “The program is peppered with genre-bending artists who not only create exciting, fresh sounds, but they are challenging the status quo and sparking conversations that transcend musical engagement.”

Expect the best local eats with restaurants, Lalla Rookh, Sauma and The Standard showcasing the best Perth has to offer.

As well as the massive headliners on the Mainstage, every night of the festival will see the best homegrown talent take to the free Garden Stage.

Chevron Gardens is run from Friday 9th of February until Sunday 4th of March next year as a part of Perth International Arts Festival. More info and full lineup can be found here.
