CERES announce “91′ Your House” tour dates for February & March

Hands up if your heart got broken then put back together at any of CERES‘ shows towards the end of 2016? Ours most certainly did. The emotional and cathartic rollercoaster that has become their album Drag It Down On You manifested itself into a beast live and this week, we were incredibly excited to see that it’s going to be toured once again…soon!

The boys are taking their latest single from the album, “91′ Your House”, on the road right around the country through February and March, with Jess Locke joining on as a special guest. The news came with the release of a special music video for the single, written about the death of vocalist and songwriter Tom Lanyon‘s father.

“My Dad died [on] Christmas Eve, 1991, from lung cancer caused by cigarettes. I was only six at the time, and my memory is sometimes fuzzy and sometimes fierce about it all. I can’t believe that was over 26 years ago, it still bleeds into the songs I write. I can’t help it, don’t necessarily want to write about it, but it can flow out of me with such force that sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever be able to stop. It seems to be an endlessly deep well for me to drag up from.”

The clip, made by Callum Preston features over 600 hand drawn illustrations – check it out below.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now via www.oztix.com.au.
