Bluesfest is on for 2021, the first multi-day, multi-stage camping festival to be held in the world since the beginning of Covid-19.
Running from April 1st-5th at the idyllic Byron Events Farm (formerly the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm), the festival will be a smaller affair than we’re used to – only 3 stages – but the fact the weekend is happening at all is a joy. It’ll be All-Aussie, and all outdoors.
It’s been confirmed that festival’s Covid-19 Safety Plan has been approved, meaning audiences will be able to roam around mask-free and with no fear of breaching social distancing rules.
And now there’s more to look forward to with the jam packed Australian lineup. Three major new names have been announced, set to take to the stage Easter Monday: Pete Murray (pictured), Kate Ceberano, and Mark Seymour & The Undertow.
They are joined by six other new names: Fiona Boyes & The Fortune Tellers, Lambros., The Regime, Round Mountain Girls, Electrik Lemonade and Palm Valley. You can learn more about all these artists on the Bluesfest Website.
Other crowd favourites already announced across the festival weekend include Jimmy Barnes, Tash Sultana, The Teskey Brothers, Ocean Alley and Kasey Chambers.
And with tickets already 85% sold, you better not delay on getting a ticket. Here’s the full lineup!
