Bad//Dreems, The Gov & more win SA categories of the AU Live Music Awards!

The State winners of the 2nd AU Live Music Awards are being rolled out over today and this evening, at the official event being held in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory Gallery. This afternoon, Radio Adelaide announced the winners of the four South Australian categories including Band of the Year, Voice of the Year, Event of the Year and Venue of the Year.

Taking out SA Band of the Year for the second year in a row was Bad//Dreems, who have had a wildly successful year in 2015, with multiple shows around the country and the release of their debut album Dogs At Bay being released to much acclaim. Winning SA Voice of the Year this year was Dusty Lee Stephensen, vocalist for both SKIES and Wasted Wanderers, both bands of which have been growing consistently as live outfits.

In the industry categories, Sharni Honor and The Porch Sessions were named SA Event of the Year for their series of intimate acoustic shows held at various Adelaide sites, while The Governor Hindmarsh hotel took out SA Venue of the Year.

Congratulations to all the winners and be sure to keep an eye on our below platforms as the national winners are announced from 8pm (Sydney time) tonight!
