All the details for that massive Green Day, Fall Out and Weezer tour

In what is surely one of the biggest rock tours Australians will see in 2020, a triple-headliner bill of Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer is set for shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane through November.

Appropriately dubbed “The Hella Mega Tour”, Live Nation and Triple M will take all three iconic bands around the country, starting with a show at Perth’s HBF Park on November 8th. From there it’s on to Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, and then Sydney’s Bankwest Stadium, before ending at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on November 17th.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 11am on Friday February 14. The Green Day webstore and Fall Out Boy and Weezer fan pre-sales, commence at 9am on Monday February 10, concluding at 9am on Tuesday February 11. The Green Day fan pre-sale commences at 10am on Monday February 10, concluding at 9am on Tuesday February 11. My Live Nation members can secure tickets during the pre-sale beginning at 10am on Tuesday February 11, concluding at 10am on Friday February 14.

The visit is part of a global tour which will kick off mid-June in Paris before visiting cities across Europe, UK and North America.

NZ guitar pop band The Beths have been chosen to support at all Australian shows, following major success in North America with a co-headline tour with Bad Bad Hats and a widely praised appearance at SXSW. Their 2018 debut album, Future Me Hates Me (Dew Process), was heralded as one of the year’s stand-out music releases, with Pitchfork naming it “one of the most impressive indie-rock debuts of the year”.
