World of Warcraft Shadowlands unleashes the Chains of Domination

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

The first major content upgrade to World of Warcraft Shadowlands, Chains of Dominion, makes some dramatic changes to the Shadowlands post-game story.

The Jailer’s power grows. Anduin is held in the thrall of the Lich King. Baston has fallen. Sylvanas questions her own brutal crusade.

Chains of Domination is the same Patch 9.1 that leaked yesterday via a Blizzard PR website. It adds a new zone called Korthia, considered a “long lost domain of The Maw.” The update also adds new instances — one new raid and one new dungeon. The new raid is held at the top of the Tower of Torghast, and is called called Sanctum of Domination. The dungeon is called Tazavesh, the Veiled Market and is “an eight-boss Mythic mega-dungeon set in a bazaar of the mysterious Brokers.” The dungeon culminates in “a high-stakes heist to steal powerful artifacts from Azeroth.”

There is currently no confirmed release date for the 9.1 patch. World of Warcraft Shadowlands is out now.
