Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection brings PS4 adventure to next-gen

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will bring both PS4 era games in the beloved series to the PlayStation 5.

Both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy are included in the package. Both titles have been remastered for play on the PS5 hardware. But the special surprise is that the package will also come to Windows PC.

The jump to PC marks the first time the Uncharted series has appeared on a non-PlayStation platform. It follows Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone, both of which made the jump to PC in the last 12 months.

This opening of Sony’s walled garden of exclusives to PC is thanks to PlayStation Worldwide Studios head Hermen Hulst. Co-founder of Guerilla Games, Hulst picked Guerilla’s Horizon to be the first PlayStation exclusive to go cross-platform. Despite some technical hitches at launch, the program has proven a success so far.

Uncharted 4 marked the last time series hero Nathan Drake would headline a game in the franchise. The Lost Legacy served as a testbed for the more open map design that Naughty Dog would later use in The Last of Us Part II.

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is developed by Naughty Dog, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It currently has no release date, but is expected to launch in early 2022.
