Third Overwatch animated short digs into Hanzo’s backstory

With a week left before launch, Blizzard have released the third character-centric animated short  for Overwatch. The latest short focuses on Japanese archer Hanzo and the mysterious cyborg ninja Genji.

Both Hanzo and Genji have become fan favourite characters during the beta, their eclectic suite of moves and climbing ability allowing them the ability to easily get the drop on other players.

The “Dragons” short follows on from last month’s Winston-centric “Recall” and Windowmaker-led “Alive.” Blizzard currently has no timetable for release on the shorts, though this marks the second time the developer has released a short through PlayStation.

Overwatch launches May 24 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The recent open beta pulled in a record 9.4 million players.
