Sony will dump PS3 and PSVita titles from PlayStation Plus Monthly Games program in 2019

Bad news, PS3 and PSVita owners. You won’t be getting any more free games out of Sony’s PlayStation Plus program. Don’t stress to early though, these changes won’t go into effect for another year.

According to a blog post and from Sony this morning, games on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles will no longer be provided for PS Plus subscribers beyond March 2019.

You’re not going to lose any games you’ve already gotten for free, those are yours to keep, you just won’t be getting any new ones.

Once these changes come into effect, the Monthly Games with PlayStation Plus offer will be limited to two free PS4 titles per month.
