Reminder: Overwatch is free-to-play this weekend

Wanna take Sombra for a spin? Of course you do. Lucky for you, Blizzard’s team shooter Overwatch is free all weekend and you can grab it right now.

It’s only been a couple of days since the Sombra update went live and already we’re seeing people get creative with her in Quick Play and Competitive. Harass others with your invisible harridan to your  hearts content from now until Sunday night.

You’ll also get access to all currently available maps, heroes and content, including the new 3v3 map, as well as Arcade Mode which replaces the Weekly Brawls in the Play menu. You’ll also be able to level up and earn loot boxes.

If you want to keep playing, simply buy the game and you’re on your way. If not, no worries. Your progress will be saved either way. The current competitive season ends in just a few days so we’d suggest spending the bulk of your time in Quick Play unless you really want that hardcore competitive feel.

You can start downloading Overwatch for free right now. It clocks in at a relatively painless 12GB (though we ARE in Australia so your download mileage may vary). Grab it on PlayStation Network or Xbox Live Store on console, or via the Battle.Net app if you’re on Windows PC.
